Milestone 7- "I Create and Share Online Surveys, Quizzes, and Tests"

Page history last edited by Jeff Cockrum 10 years, 2 months ago

Couldn't make it to training for this Milestone?

To complete this Milestone- create a poll (minimum 4 choices), a survey (minimum 4 questions), OR a quiz (minimum 4 questions).  After creating, please copy and paste the link that you would give to your students (where they would go to actually take the poll, survey, or quiz) as a "Turn In" for Milestone #7 assignment in the Technology Group in Edmodo.

https://gpisd.edmodo.com

Here are the options that we discussed in training.  I looked up many options for these, but chose these because they seem simple, user-friendly and are free (choosing for the masses).

Polls- To do a quick poll in class (students can use their phone to text their answer)-

http://www.polleverywhere.com

Poll everywhere is free, but limits you to 40 responses per poll, so you would want to create a separate one for each class.

Here's a sample poll-

Note- There are many more options that this.  You can use any option you would like.

Surveys- To create a survey and gather data

Kwik Survey

http://kwiksurveys.com

Google Forms

http://www.google.com/drive/apps.html

Both of these options are free, have many choices for question formats, and don't limit the number of responses.

Note- There are many more options that this.  You can use any option you would like.

Quizzes/Tests- To create a quiz (and have it graded for you)

Google Forms

http://www.google.com/drive/apps.html

Follow these instructions and watch this short screencast to see how to have your quizzes graded automatically.  It even provides an item analysis for you and will email the results to the student off you choose to include that option in your quiz.

Many of the options would instantly show the students which ones they missed as well as the correct answer (which you may or not want).

Note- There are many more options that this.  You can use any option you would like.

Yes. I just update the page, and I am going to post the assignment in Edmodo.
