Use Your Laptop as a Desktop in Your Classroom

 to watch a video about how to setup your laptop to be used as a desktop in your classroom.

 

This video was made with TouchCast, a free app for your iPad, that can be used to create videos for your class.  Kyla presented this app during September's Milestone training (Jeff presented Knowmia).

 

 

Here are some images of how to set this up.  Note- you must have power to your monitor and speakers.

 

Jeff's Setup

Left side- keyboard, speakers     Right side- adapter, wireless mouse

          

 

Kyla's Setup

Left side- wireless mouse, speakers     Right side- adapter, USB hub with ethernet adapter

               

 

Gina's Setup

Left side- keyboard, speakers     Right side- adapter, wireless mouse 

 

Debbie's Setup

Left side- wireless mouse     Right side- USB that connects to docking station (everything connected to this)
